English is not widely spoken but didn't cause an issue, we do suggest you brush up on French (something we need to do more of in the uk)and have the Google translate app to hand. It has a big swimming pool near the beach with sun beds, a big restaurant, a bar and three conference rooms. The rooms are spacious, and despite visible aging, comfortable. From expedited passport clearance upon arrival to a varied itinerary of activities (Goree Island tour, Bandia safari, city tour, ATV dune bashing around the Pink Lake, surfing at Point Almadies, exploring the Saloum Delta, and jet skiing in Saly), the trip was perfectly tailored for our active and curious family. The food was good but again as some people stated, they were hosting conferences; if you did not get there at a reasonable time, the food was almost gone.
